Q: Is BAM a selective organization?
A: Yes, our capacity ranges from 80 to 100 active members each semester. This is due to the internal design of BAM and the specific number and size of small groups.
Q: Is BAM a religious (Christian) organization?
A: No, however we do offer an optional Bible Study.
Q: Can I be in BAM and another organization?
A: Yes however, all members are expected to meet the requirements regardless of outside involvement.
Q: Can I join BAM in the spring?
A: We currently do not offer a spring application. All members undergo training during the fall to prepare the for the spring semester.
Q: What happens if I cannot pay my dues?
A: Dues are an integral part of our organization and help fund all the things we do. If you have concerns about dues, get in touch with our IVP (internal vice president) or Treasurer and they will help work out the best option.
Q: I've heard that rush or pledgeship can be hard , what does this process look like in BAM?
A: We are different than most organizations, we do not have a stressful process in which you must spend 40 days in the desert or rescue a princess from a tower. However, being a new member does require some extra time commitments such as extra 1-on-1 meetings. This is purely because we want our new members to get plugged in quickly and effectively.
Q: I have a question but it isn't answered on here, how do I get in touch?
